Twenty-one years after its development, the TOEIC test has more than 3 million candidates worldwide. Most of the large international groups and approximately 2000 companies in Europe rely on the TOEIC to assess the English language proficiency of their employees. The test is also used for language training audits and determining the level of English required for a certain position (bench marking).
